Dominique Zonyeé

Hi, I'm Dominique Zonyeé, Head of the House at Apartment 1A. My brand journey began in Harlem, N.Y.C., in a first-floor apartment, #1A.

​

A product of New York's epicenter for Black music, art, and culture I was drawn to the art of storytelling and harmonizing visual design, brand messaging, and dialogue. 

​

I was born a creative, drawn to words and images and how we use them to influence decision-makers and evoke human emotions. If I wasn't journaling, writing poetry, books, letters, reviews, songs, scripts, or articles, I was using my pen and research skills to help brands, people in the community, and leaders find their brand voice.

​

Professionally, I evolved from a journalist to a copywriter to, a marketing strategist, content director and editor, social media and email marketing strategist, content marketing strategist, advertising, brand strategist, creative strategist, ghostwriter, thought leadership curator, founder, and CEO.

​

My experiences as a journalist led me to where I am today, a creative and brand strategist, and copywriter, passionate about discovering insights and trends that translate into storytelling to connect brands to multicultural audiences who drive culture and sales. I ideate, strategize, and collaborate with creative teams to bring brand takeovers, product launches, or social impact movements to life through creative assets, IRL experiences, or campaigns.

I genuinely enjoy seeing brands and the people who love them succeed. Inspiration strikes me continuously as I live on the pulse of cultural trends allowing my intuition and data to help me define what is next. When I'm not on assignment for an Apartment 1A client, I enjoy hitting the gym, making fragrances and teas, reading new books, traveling, and spending quality time with my family and loved ones.
