49th State Productions
Veteran talent booker and award show producer stepped out on her own.
Armed with a self-made mood board and a business plan courtesy of our client, we were challenged with helping to develop a name for the company that reflected her roots and paid homage to her mood board.
I began with brand discovery and competitive analysis to understand the industry and where her new company would fit in the market. We identified other female talent booking agency founders and used the data to help us define and develop the brand.

The Outcome
I began with brand discovery and competitive analysis to understand the industry and where the new company would fit in the market. Then we started the brand identity phase by visualizing the theme with a balance of soft and deep blues and purples to reflect the open water environment.
The logo and font were bold yet refined and simplistic to emphasize the company name— an ode to the founder's Anchorage, Alaska roots, which she wanted to be woven into her brand story.
